Role of Emotional Intelligence (#EI) in artificial intelligence (#AI) part-01.

                     As per my perspective, now a day emotional intelligence plays vital role in research of artificial intelligence because for last 3-4 decade artificial intelligence researchers have focused on giving machines natural language processing and mathematical-logical reasoning abilities. Due to emotional intelligence the artificial intelligence one steps ahead of research era in technology. This blog describes new research that is giving machines skills of emotional intelligence.

                     Now machines are also being programmed to learn when and how to display

Emotion in ways that enable the machine to appear on GUI otherwise emotionally

Intelligent. Machines are now being given the ability to sense and recognize expressions

Of human emotion such as happiness, interest, tress, sadness, and pleasure, with the recognition that such Communication is vital for helping machines choose more helpful and making machine decisive.

                  I was excited to discuss about basic term like Artificial Intelligence, emotional intelligence. “Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the branch of Computer science which aims of making clever machines that can think, feel and take decision just like human being”.

As per psychology, emotion is defined as a complex state of feeling that results in physical and psychological changes that influence thought and behavior of human being. Emotionality is associated with a range of psychological phenomena including temperament, personality, mood, and motivation.

                 Now day, Machines do not even have emotions they don’t feel happy to see us, sad when we go etc. then why would machines need emotional intelligence? Because it is about how emotional intelligence could address several problems that exist today, while enabling better technologies for the future.

 Difference between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence

                    artificial intelligence might help you to solve mathematical problems and emotional intelligence might help you to live understand the society and be a part of it and there are many like that. Artificial intelligence is word used for intelligence shown by a non-biological species i.e. Machine while emotional intelligence Emotional intelligence is subset of both intelligence and artificial intelligence which understands the emotions of others.
